Security Sales Representative, Full-time

Safety Systems has been helping protect people and properties across Michigan and surrounding areas for 50 years. We offer a broad range of life safety services and programs designed to meet the specific needs of each family and business we service.

Safety Systems is currently seeking 2 full-time sales representatives for lower Mid-Michigan.  As a sales representative you will need an exceptional outgoing and energetic personality to follow through the sales process in a timely and professional manner. 

Job Specifications and Accountabilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales goals.  Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of closing sales, know the product, know the customer’s needs, close the sale.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Design systems, research equipment suitable for each job, including pricing & availability and estimate labor requirements.
  • Manage project implementation (or installation); serve as main contact between customer and our technical department.
  • After sale customer support.
  • Maintain accurate records and activity reports.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal and writing skills.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Experience in intrusion, fire, card access, and CCTV
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Some College a plus or equivalent work experience
  • Technical savvy and ability to use MS Office Suite, Smart Phones, Internet and other job related applications.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, physical, and drug screen.
